About Women of Waco
How We Came to Be.
It all started as a conversation among a small group of women friends about how energetic it is to get a group of women together.
We had all previously been a part of other volunteer groups, clubs and networking/lead generating organizations, but none that could fill the role of women helping women with a focus of supporting, encouraging and empowering one another that a group of "just men" could never create. Nothing against men, but women are so powerful together!
With a lot of discussion, meetings and great food, we created Women of Waco. The ideas started coming and the energy level grew.
Through it all, we realized that women actual need each other even more than we had originally thought.
We delight over thinking of a strong foundation that is being built, first introductions that will grow into best friends and how many women in our community need us, just like we needed each other. We couldn’t wait to share our plans and set our goals, learn from our mistakes along the way, and have a team of women from different businesses, different ages, different backgrounds and different daily challenges.
The networking capabilities, the referrals and ideas to grow your business and yourself are in this group. The humor and love that we all long for can also be found in this group. Sometimes you just have to put your heart into something and watch it grow. That’s how we got started with the Women of Waco.

Program Speakers.
Our monthly Women of Waco lunch meetings are held the second Friday of each month featuring a different W.O.W. group member as our Program Speaker.
Program Speakers discuss professional topics from ways to help grow and market your business to therapeutic and empowering discussion topics encouraging women to grow personally and professionally. You won't want to miss it!

Networking.
From our Women of Waco meetings and WOW Monthly After Hours get-togethers, to joint Hewitt Chamber events, such as our annual Lead Explosion event and other possible special events throughout the year, our group offers numerous networking opportunities to our many valued members of local professional business women.
E-Blasts.
W.O.W. members can send e-blasts to fellow members and/or our contact list of over 600+ recipients that continues to grow each month. The cost is only $50 per e-blast. Limited to 2 per year per member. CLICK HERE to submit your email via our E-Blast Request Form.
Women of Waco Outreach.
The Women of Waco Outreach committee focuses on fostering professional development to help our members grow as business owners and individuals. To that end, we are offering scholarship opportunities to any Women of Waco member who seeks continuing professional development. The intent of the scholarship program is to enhance Women of Waco members’ opportunities to attend professional conferences and trainings.

Women of Waco Meetings - 2nd Friday of each Month,
11am to 1pm at The Baylor Club
Open Networking begins at 11am, Lunch served at 11:15am
Meeting Begins promptly at 11:30am. Cost is $20 to attend meeting, lunch & tea/water included, paid with debit or credit card.
